Founded in 1996 by Dr Henri BAYEMI, the Mouvement de l’Incarnation, Word of God Groups, celebrated its 27th anniversary in Yaoundé during a day of retreat on 17 September 2023. Held in the presence of the founder and general leader of the said movement, Henri BAYEMI, the day of retreat that took place at the Word of God retreat centre in Yaoundé on 17 September marked the opening of the festivities at the national and worldwide levels. 
Participants in festive attire, a special decoration; everything was brought together to celebrate 27 years of the Mouvement de l’Incarnation, Word of God Groups. The theme « how I love your law », drawn from Psalm 119:97, already highlighted the spirituality of the movement, which rests on the living out of the Word of God. The founder and general leader affirms in this regard « Whether it be the first anniversary, the twentieth or the hundredth, what is the Lord inviting us to live? It is to live his Word. But since we cannot live what we do not know, it is important to intensify the reading of the Word of God. »
The celebration began with the Mass presided over by Father Alfonse, chaplain of the Word of God groups in the city of Yaoundé. From his homily we will remember that anger infests the heart, resentment rots it and vengeance kills us. After the teaching centred on the theme, numerous life testimonies from all social categories, young people and adults, were given by members of the group, thus highlighting the benefits of the daily living out of the Word of God in their respective lives.
27 years of living out the Word of God within the Mouvement de l'Incarnation is also 27 years of memories and evangelization presented on the stage. In all, nearly 1,000 participants were present at the Word of God retreat centre to continue writing the history of the Mouvement de l’Incarnation.
