Germany: The Movement of the Incarnation Launches Its 30th Anniversary in Fervour

From Berlin to Ingolstadt, Germany's Word of God Groups experienced a memorable December 2025. Between Christmas spiritual retreats and jubilee celebrations, here is a look back at a launch marked by gratitude and praise.

A Solemn Opening in Ingolstadt

It all began on Sunday, 7 December 2025, at St Moritz Parish in Ingolstadt. In an atmosphere of deep recollection, the procession of the Blessed Sacrament marked the opening of the first day of the Word of God Christmas retreat. This moment of communion brought priests and faithful together to prepare their hearts for the coming of Christ.

The Passing of the Torch and the 30th Anniversary Jubilee

Six days later, the excitement spread across the whole of Germany. The major event of this year's end was undoubtedly the official launch of the thirtieth anniversary of the Movement of the Incarnation. In the city of Frankfurt, it was in prayer and joy that Father Jude Okere cut the symbolic ribbon. In Speyer, the younger generation took centre stage: the children took an active part in launching the jubilee under the kindly gaze of the leaders.

A Time of Praise and Grace

In Essen, the celebration took on a particularly festive turn. The members spared no effort to “sweat for Jesus” during a memorable praise session. But beyond the songs and dances, this jubilee is an occasion to celebrate 30 years of spiritual and material graces received within the movement.

Unity Around the Infant Jesus

On 21 December, the retreatants of Berlin brought this cycle to a close by bearing witness to the depth of the teachings they had received. From the north to the south of Germany, artistic talents were displayed on every stage. These radiant celebrations, reflecting the beauty of the Infant Jesus in His manger, mark the beginning of a jubilee year that promises to be rich in blessings for the entire community.
