MASS PRESIDED OVER BY CARDINAL SARAH AT THE WORD OF GOD RETREAT CENTER

Cardinal Robert Sarah, Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, will preside, for the Mouvement de l’Incarnation (Word of God Groups), over a eucharistic celebration at the Word of God Retreat Center in the diocese of Obala in Cameroon. This Mass, scheduled for April 7, 2024 at 10 a.m., is part of the visit from April 2 to 12 to the Diocese of Obala, following the invitation of Bishop Sosthène Bayemi, Ordinary of the place.

The Mouvement de l’Incarnation is a public association of the faithful, whose spirituality consists in Living the Word of God. Since 2007 it has undertaken a project to build a place for its members to gather for recollection and prayer, capable of accommodating 2,000 participants for retreats. At a third of the way toward the completion of this project, the Word of God Retreat Center will welcome His Eminence for the Sunday Mass. 

This celebration marks a unique and highly anticipated event for the great community of the faithful. Moreover, for the members of the Movement and particularly for their founder, it is with great fervor and joy that the event is being prepared.
