The gift

A woman went to see the parish priest to tell him the following, "Father, I believe I have a gift, the gift of criticism." The priest replied to her: "Which text of the Bible tells us about how to make our gifts bear fruit?" The woman said proudly, "the parable of the talents in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 25." "And," the priest went on, "what did the one who had received only a single talent do?" "He went and hid his talent in the ground," the woman answered. The priest concluded, "and you, do likewise."

CONCLUSION
Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God (1 Jn 4:7)
